The apartments are furnished in a modern alpine style. The premium equipped kitchens, the generous living room with fireplace and large dining table offer plenty of comfort and space for the whole family and your friends. Each apartment has a large balcony and the ground floor apartment offers a spacious terrace with direct access to the garden. After a long day in the fresh air, our wellness facilities with a Finnish sauna and steam bath will wait on you. The practical ski room with ski boot warmer on the ground floor is accessible by lift.
If you are planning your winter ski and snowboard holidays or if just want to discover the wonderful nature around Zermatt, Chalet Altesse offers you the ideal starting point for your snow, ski or sledging tours, which you will surely enjoy in the middle of 38 peaks over 4000 meter. In just a few minutes you can reach either the base station of the Zermatt express cable car as well as the Gornergratbahn at the Findelbach station. And of course, the ski bus stops only 100 meters away from our chalet. In the evening, with enough snow available, you can ride by ski or snowboard up to the front door of the Chalet Altesse which will be the ultimate final of a perfect winter day.

Chalet Altesse - ideal apartment in Zermatt for your family holiday stay
Chalet Altesse is very popular for holidays with the whole family and friends. In front of the chalet there is space for snowmaking and building an igloo. The hill at the edge of the forest is perfect to build a sled or bobsleigh track and to watch at some deers in the evening. The children's playground in Winkelmatten is only a 5-minute walk away. In winter, there are in the surrounding stables the friends of 'Wolli', the black-nosed sheep. To feed them with hard bread is always an experience for the younger children. The chapel of Winkelmatten is also worth a visit to light a candle for his beloved ones. 5 minutes by feet away from the chalet, there is also the Sonnmatten Restaurant, a popular restaurant with children's menu and ideal opening hours for families.
