3 Chalets Element

The Element Chalets **** in Zermatt were built in 2017, in the area known as Aroleid.
These idyllic, private first-class holiday chalets are located in the heart of nature, away
from the bustle of the town. They offer an exclusive panoramic view of Zermatt's
beautiful mountain ranges and are conveniently located next to the ski-slope (Furi-
Blatten-Zermatt). You can ski directly to the chalets' front door and in the morning you
can strap on your skis to get to the nearest gondola. Many beautiful trails also start
directly at your doorstep. Away from the towns' hectic bustle, but yet close to the center
– a 8 minute walk to the bus stop or a 15-20 minute walk to the towns' center.
The Element Chalets consist of three separate chalets. Each of the chalets has 4
bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people. Please note, that if you are going to
book the chalet for up to 4 or 6 persons, there will be only 2,respectively 3, double
rooms provided. All three chalets can be rented for large groups, to comfortably lodge
up to 24 guests.
The chalets are each named and decorated to represent one of the 4 Elements. However,
the layout and the size of the chalets are all identical:
• Each private chalet has 3 floors, totaling in 200m2 in space.
• Private and modern Sauna in every chalet.
• 4 Doublerooms: Good quality box-spring beds with separate mattresses available
in every room. In 2 of the bedrooms, the beds can be divided to make 2 single
beds. Each room includes a modern closet with sliding doors and an integrated
mirror, as well as a comfortable armchair.
• 4 Bathrooms, plus 1 day bathroom: There are 3 bathrooms on the top floor, as
well as 1 bathroom and 1 day-bathroom on the main floor. All bathrooms include
a shower, one bathroom offering a bathtub and integrated shower. A hair dryer,
shampoo, soap and fresh clean towels are also provided.
• Two bedrooms have a large shared balcony overlooking the forests and
mountains of Zermatt.
• Living room with fireplace, Plasma TV and DVD Player and Free WIFI / Internet
• Open and fully equipped kitchen with bar table and dining table for 8 persons.
• (Equipment: Dishes and cutlery for 8 people, stove with 4 elements, oven and
microwave, fridge with freezer, dishwasher with dish washing tabs, coffee
machine with coffee capsules, electric water kettle and toaster, raclette oven and
fondue set, iron and ironing board)
• Large terrace with garden table and seating for 8 persons.
• Ski-room with ski-shoe dryer: The ski-room offers a closet and enough space to
lodge sled, skis and bikes
Please note that if you book (with price adjustment to the number of persons) up
to 4 or 6 persons, only 2 or 3 bedrooms will be provided.

Additional costs
Arrival from train station to the chalets: (extra charge) OFFERED
By request (which is given ahead of time) we will organize a taxi, which will pick you up
from the train station and bring you to the chalet. This service is not included in the
price. On your departure date, a taxi can take you from the chalets to the train station,
however again at your own expense. Please take note that our chalets are located
outside the town center.
Visitor's Tax: (The city taxes can be paid at the location.)

Situation
The chalets are about 25 minutes walk from the train station. To reach the center, main
train station, Gornergrat Station or Sunnegga/Rothorn Station, you can take the bus
(green line), which is within a 8 minute walking distance from the chalet or a 3 minutes
by ski.
During the summer, you can take a taxi directly to the chalet's front door. Please note,
that not every taxi company will drive up to our chalets. We recommend the taxi
company "Taxi Christoph".
In winter, the taxi can drive to the nearest hiking trail. From there the chalet is within a
5 minute walk.
Upon your arrival in Zermatt, we can organise a taxi to pick you up. Your baggage will be
brought from the taxi (nearest hiking trail) to the chalets by us. Please note that this
service (taxi & Baggage-service) is not included in the price and has to be paid extra.
